We are serious about transparency. Being transparent about olive oil includes complete transparency about our olive oil producers. Our organic producers go through a strict selection process. This is how we ensure that we offer the best extra virgin olive oil that is produced in compliance with the highest environmental and social standards.

Domaine Adonis is our organic olive oil producer in Tunisia. A main reason that we decided to partner with them is that their olives are produced organically on a beautiful orchard where there is place for nature to thrive. The orchard contains wild trees, bushes, plants and flowers that grow between and around the olive trees.

Another reason that Domaine Adonis is part of the Olive Oil Club is the high quality of the olive oils. The aroma’s and polyphenol-levels are incomparable with the olive oils you find in a regular shop. This is a result of the hard year-round work of the team, and the dedication to achieve high polyphenol levels. The producer has its own olive oil mill on the farm, which allows for full control over the production process of the olive oil - from the harvesting to the bottling. It is not surprising that the extra virgin olive oils of Domaine Adonis win (every year) prizes in the most reliable and prestigious international olive oil competitions.

The quality of the olive oils are ultra premium, which even goes beyond ‘Extra Virgin’, given the ultra low acidity (<0,3%), high polyphenol content (>500 mg/l), and low Peroxide Index (<9). Finally, during visits to the producer, we found that the producer complies with our producer standards. Domaine Adonis is organically certified by CCPB and certified for food safety by the British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRC), the highest level of food safety certification.
